Ishizuchi Junmai Daiginjo Masamune
Founded in 1920 in Ehime prefecture, the brewery uses the extremely soft water "Uchinuki", which is one of the 100 most famous spring waters in Japan. It is named after nearby Mount Ishizuchi, one of Japan's seven sacred peaks.
Ishizuchi makes great sake that is often recognised as winners of various sake competition within and outside Japan.
This is the original style of sake of Ishizuchi, bottled in their original label. It is mild and dry, with hint of stone fruit and aniseed on the nose. It is unusually flavourful despite its dryness, with a finish of mild salinity and minerality.
